Due to advertisement ban, false interpretation of unfair competition under Turkish legislation, Lawyers are not able create a professional webpage. Therefore, the present web page and its content remain weak and non-effective as a consequence of the current legal limitations. In the mentality of the legislator a web page cannot go further than a business card.

The legislators' statement as:"Establish your office alone or with a partner" precludes the lawyers to gather their experiences under one legal entity. The law only permits the lawyer to obtain a web page name under his/her first name and surname, but not for a legal entity name that the lawyer wishes to obtain together with his/her partner(s).Accordingly, each lawyer is de facto being forced by the law to establish web pages individually, regardless of their legal entity as partnership with other lawyers. We therefore, apologize to our visitors on behalf of the legislator.
