2nd Public Private Partnership (PPP) Healthcare Investment Summit was held in İstanbul Raffles Hotel. Topics focused on law, finance, patient services, technological infrastructure have been discussed at this summit.
As the world’s only event dedicated exclusively to Public Private Partnerships in the healthcare Sector, PPP Healthcare Investment Summit was hosted by Elmadag Law Office and PPP Experts under cover of Turkey’s Ministry of Health and Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry Investment Support and Promotion Agency in İstanbul Raffles Hotel.
Founder of Elmadag Law Firm and Legal Adviser of Ministry of Health, Healthcare Investment Agency Att. Dr. Ramazan Ariturk gave the opening speech. Mr. Ramazan Ariturk says “ We are now in the stage that we must discuss operating period issues after finishing PPP projects successfully.” Att. Dr. Ramazan Ariturk has mentioned it was discussed that legal deficiencies, technical requirements, risk sharing between parties of construction and most importantly credibility of projects at 1st PPP Healtcare Summit and now we are in implementation phase.”
Global investment funds lined up for healthcare investment in Turkey. Att. Dr. Ramazan Ariturk has also mentioned that the greatest investment funds’ desire to be a part of PPP Healthcare Projects and said “These companies are preparing for PPP projects that will be submitted tender next year. This summit is a great opportunity to discuss lessons which are taken from first projects with all actors from the sector.
More than 400 participants and a large number of national and international foundation attended to the PPP Healthcare Investment Summit. Undersecretary of the Ministry of health, Prof. Dr. Eyüp Gümüş has also attended on the 2nd day of the summit. Gümüş mentioned it will be provided a better environment and service encounter for both consumers and staff with this PPP model.
